🧑‍🍳 What we do

The focus on community-led growth has never been higher and we believe this is the journey most companies will take. However, the tooling isn’t keeping up. Here at Talkbase, we're building a platform that streamlines the process of community building, collaboration, and community tech stack integrations.
Imagine you want to build a community. Where do you start? How do you track your first supporters? What programs do you build and how? It takes a lot of effort to plan everything out, and we are here to help!

💭 Our vision for the role

We are looking for someone curious and passionate who knows how to create modern user interfaces with JS, HTML, and (S)CSS, is not afraid to take initiative and who will make our team stronger. We have lots of product tasks, often technically challenging and performance-related with a great deal of focus on user experience.
Reporting directly to our CTO Roman, you'll support our efforts to deliver more value to our users through new customer-facing features and ensure that current features work without issues.

🙌 What you’ll do

Build an ambitious web application that our customers love to use with the latest web tooling and Typescript, as well as frameworks — including React.js, and Next.js.
To build the best experience, it is important for us to include you in a discussion and shaping of our core product, you'll be part of the decision-making to deliver the best possible outcome.
Understand the product and our user base, and participate during the design process.
Architect efficient and reusable front-end components and abstractions, and engineer user-friendly interfaces.
Bind our front-end and back-end services together and monitor, test, and continuously optimize and improve your solutions.
Write maintainable and extensible code with tests.
Improve processes of code delivery and collaboration, and work on development experience.
Constantly improve the codebase.

📌
You don't need to check everything to apply. We still believe that the attitude to listen, learn and grow gets you further than a long-time experience. We don't expect you to know every technology we are familiar with, on the opposite, we look forward to hearing about your different experiences and what you learn personally to expand our perspective with you on the team!
