We are seeking a talented on-site Junior Software Engineer in Prague (the location is mandatory). You'll be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality software solutions that power and safeguard businesses and individuals from fraud in the new era of large language models. You'll work across the software development lifecycle from design and implementation to testing and deployment, ensuring that systems are efficient, scalable, and maintainable. This role offers a strong foundation in professional software engineering while giving you the opportunity to collaborate with experts working on advanced fraud detection technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Software Development: Design, implement, and maintain production-ready software components and services used in document processing systems.
• Code Quality & Best Practices: Write clean, efficient, and testable code following industry standards and team guidelines.
• System Integration: Contribute to the integration of internal tools, APIs, and third-party services to support product features.
• Continuous Improvement: Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and planning to learn and contribute to team growth.
• Flexibility: Take on additional tasks as needed, supporting the team in achieving shared goals.

Requirements

• Solid programming skills in Python.

• Optional experience with cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure), containerization tools (e.g. Docker) and working with large datasets or data preprocessing techniques.
• Interest in fraud detection and basic knowledge of machine learning frameworks (e.g. PyTorch).
• Familiarity with security or anomaly detection concepts is an advantage.
