Your mission

Your mission is to ensure that Pricefx’s largest and most strategic customers are understood and supported in a way that allows them to:

  • Achieve maximum value from Pricefx solutions
  • Maximize the use of Pricefx across their enterprise and
  • Become a strong advocate for our solutions internally and externally to other customers.

The Strategic Customer Executive executes these three things by:

  • Being a trusted resource and advisor to key executives and influencers across the various business units and geographies,
  • Understanding and influencing the customer’s pricing roadmap and the key influencers in the customer organization
  • Finding ways to accelerate value capture and ARR growth with the customer
  • Advising them on the prescriptive delivery guidelines when it comes to their solution and rollout
  • Driving the expansion opportunities to realize that solution
  • Helping the customers identify and measure the value achieved with our pricing solutions,
  • Ensuring proper governance for inflight projects delivered by Pricefx or our Ecosystem partners
  • Becoming strong advocate for our solutions at the customer, and
  • Advocating for the customer inside of Pricefx

The SCE’s goals are:

  • Driving expanding revenue for Pricefx from this customer,
  • Maintaining high net recurring revenue rates (NRR)
  • Maintaining high customer reference ability and NPS

You will be in charge of...

  • Driving Pricefx’s strategy for these customers
  • Identifying and understanding customer problems needing solutions
  • Identifying growth opportunities, removing barriers, and building a long-term roadmap for future customer expansions of Pricefx solutions
  • Mapping the customer’s organization and driving a networking plan for executives and influencers throughout the organization
  • Arming the customer mobilizers and champions with information needed to help them realize their goals
  • Responsible for identifying the holistic risk level of the customer and then crafting and executing the mitigation plan.
  • Coordinating activities and engagement across Pricefx (including professional services, customer support, product team, and industry experts) with the customer – you are the focal point for all Pricefx engagement

What should you have to succeed?

  • Understanding of the dynamics of working with large multi-national companies in manufacturing and distribution industries
  • Experience leading technology transformations across large enterprises
  • Ability to resolve complex issues across multiple stakeholders, internally and externally
  • Experience consulting and negotiating with senior executives
  • Familiarity with the order-to-cash cycle and pricing concepts
  • Comfortable demonstrating use cases and business scenarios in software and articulating the value that these solutions bring to the customer
  • Excellent presentation skills and executive presence (e.g., you can have a software value and P&L discussion with a CXO)
  • Ability to quickly understand our customers’ various business models/markets
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Technical aptitude and ability to understand software applications
  • Enthusiasm for working with and directing cross-departmental and cross-functional teams to create improvements or solve issues
  • Ability to work with minimal or no supervision
  • Ability to work in high-pressure situations and navigate in an ambiguous environment

  • Expansion Revenue acquisition
  • Retention of Annual Recurring Revenue
  • Adoption of Pricefx solutions across the customer’s enterprise
  • Case studies conducted & collected
  • Net Promoter score for your customers
  • Referrals/references obtained

This would make it easier…

  • Software consultative background with pricing or financial experience
  • Certified Pricing Professional (CPP)
  • Experience with implementation of Enterprise software
  • 8 to 10 years of related experience managing customer relationships for an enterprise software, preferably in high-growth, software-as-service (SaaS) environments


  • Germany - remote / home office

  • Applicants need to have valid permission to live and work in the Germany (we do not provide any assistance with work permit transcripts)
