Your mission

Help Pricefx customers and partners:

  • Be fast and effective when using and configuring the Pricefx platform.
  • Be as independent as possible and thus reduce the need to involve Pricefx staff when helping them to set up and use the Pricefx products.

You will be in charge of...

  • Create accurate, concise and usable documentation in English for the assigned product/project, especially in the Pricefx configuration area:
    • Describe Pricefx configuration, add code samples, create examples of use and tutorials within the Pricefx Developer Knowledge Base.
    • Write user guides describing various components of the Pricefx user interface.
    • Assist other team members in maintaining Groovy API documentation (based on Javadoc)
    • Write and maintain the REST API documentation (OpenAPI specification)
  • Track in Jira the tasks to be covered in documentation.
  • Plan your own work to meet the deadlines.
  • Implement feedback to documentation received from other teams or members of the Documentation team.
  • Provide feedback on documentation to other technical writers if requested.
  • Communicate with other teams, such as Engineering, QA, Product Management, Support, Customer Solutions, UX etc. to verify requirements for the documentation.
  • Attend meetings to get updated on the status of the assigned product/project (if needed).

What should you have to succeed?

  1. 3+ years of experience
  2. Excellent and proven writing skills
  3. Basic programming skills
  4. Basic knowledge of Java
  5. Understanding of the OpenAPI specification
  6. Familiarity with a version control system (such as Git)
  7. Fluent in English

Location

  • Prague, Hradec Králové, Ostrava, or any location in the Czech Republic

  • Applicants need to have valid permission to live and work in the Czech Republic (we do not provide any assistance with work permit transcripts)
