As a Sales Engineer at Photoneo, now part of Zebra Technologies, you will play a vital role in bridging the gap between our cutting-edge 3D vision and automation technologies and our customers' unique project needs. Every customer’s challenge is different, and your role is to understand, demonstrate, and propose tailored solutions using Photoneo products.
You will receive in-depth training to become an advanced user of our technology. In your day-to-day work, you'll collaborate closely with technical consultants, application engineers, and our top-tier R&D team.
As a key technical advisor in the sales process, you will support sales representatives and customers throughout the pre-sales phase, contribute to market development activities, and gather feedback to help shape future product improvements.

Key responsibilities:
- Act as a technical advisor during the sales process — from discovery to solution proposal
- Support sales representatives in identifying the right Photoneo product based on customer needs
- Conduct product demonstrations and support customer evaluations
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations, training sessions, and application overviews
- Gather and share customer feedback and market insights with product management
- Explore new use cases and support content development for marketing and sales materials
- Support trade shows, industry events, and customer visits as a technical representative
- Maintain knowledge base and contribute to documentation and testing
Requirements:

Strong ability to understand technical requirements and propose suitable solutions
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset
- Self-driven, with a problem-solving attitude and willingness to seek out technical solutions
- Fluent in English; other language skills are a plus
- Background or interest in industrial automation, robotics, machine vision, Linux OS, or CAD (even as a hobby)
- Motivated by innovation and learning; able to go beyond known territory to find answers
- Basic knowledge of programming and mathematical concepts is welcomed
- Experience with HubSpot or Sales Force or other CRM system is a plus
