About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our finance team in the US. You will manage end-to-end accounting processes, ensure compliance with US accounting and tax regulations, and support month-end and year-end closings. You’ll work closely with both finance and cross-functional teams to maintain accurate financial records and support business decision-making.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate accounting records for US operations, including general ledger entries.
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, including vendor payments and customer invoicing.
  • Reconcile bank and credit card accounts on a regular basis.
  • Record sales and purchase transactions in accordance with US GAAP.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including accruals, prepayments, and account reconciliations.
  • Assist with preparation of federal, state, and local tax filings, including income tax, sales tax, and payroll tax support.
  • Ensure compliance with US accounting regulations and internal controls.
  • Prepare financial reports and assist with audits (internal and external).
  • Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules.
  • Collaborate with finance and other departments to ensure data accuracy.

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an accounting role (ideally in the SaaS environment).
  • Proficiency with accounting systems - NetSuite is a big plus
  • Advanced Excel skills and solid command of other Microsoft Office tools.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP, revenue recognition, and accounting principles.
  • Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.

Nice to haves:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience with US corporate tax filings and sales/use tax compliance.
  • Experience in SaaS or technology companies.
