Who we are
Kontakt.io is the market leader in Intelligent Orchestration of Care Operations, helping hospitals cut waste, reduce costs, and improve patient experiences. Our AI- and RTLS-powered platform unifies data across systems, automates workflows, and orchestrates staff, equipment, and patient flow in real time—delivering up to a 2% EBITDA margin uplift for hospitals. We’re deployed system-wide at hundreds of hospitals (including HCA systemwide). We’re on a path to $100M ARR, doubling revenue year over year, after raising $50M from Goldman Sachs in 2024. Team of 140, HQ in NYC.
Why this role
You’ll be the boots-on-the-ground owner for hospital deployments of Kontakt.io solutions—coordinating site readiness, installation crews, hospital IT, and vendors to turn SOWs into live, stable systems that deliver measurable outcomes.

What you’ll do

  • Plan deployments end-to-end: create detailed site plans, milestones, dependencies, and checklists.
  • Run the field rhythm: lead daily/weekly standups with contractors, facilities/biomed, and hospital IT; unblock tasks and drive decisions on site.
  • Site readiness & installs: coordinate surveys, placement, cabling/low-voltage, mounting, labeling, and inventory; ensure EHS compliance and access/permits.
  • Field readiness: pre-stage devices, execute commissioning/functional tests, document results, and manage punch lists to closure.
  • Risk & change control: surface issues early, and manage change orders within SOW.Documentation & handover: produce as-builts, acceptance criteria/results, and clean handoffs to Support/CSM; run the 30–60–90 day stabilization checklist.
  • Vendors & budgets: coordinate third-party installers and OEMs to SLAs; track actuals vs. plan to protect PS margin.

You’ll thrive here if you

  • Like being on site, solving real-world blockers quickly and safely.
  • Keep work highly organized (lists, logs, labels) and communicate crisply.
  • Are hands-on and high-agency—comfortable coordinating crews and moving hardware.
  • Treat time, cost, scope, and safety as non-negotiables.

Must-haves

  • 3–5+ years managing field deployments or customer implementations (IoT/RTLS, or enterprise software).
  • Strong contractor/vendor coordination and multi-site scheduling experience.
  • Solid project tooling: Zendesk, Wreck
  • Excellent written/verbal communication; clean checklists, acceptance docs, and status notes.
  • Ability to travel frequently to hospital sites.

Nice-to-haves

  • Healthcare delivery environment experience (facilities, biomed, infection control, EHS).RTLS/BLE/IoT deployments, device commissioning, and RMA/inventory processes.
  • Reading floor plans and creating as-builts (Visio/CAD/Bluebeam).
  • Certifications: PMP/PRINCE2, OSHA-10/30, BICSI, Prosci (or similar).

How we work

  • IC ownership: outcomes over activities; clear scope, gates, and acceptance.
  • Decision speed: explicit owners, decision logs, and 24h escalation when blocked.
  • Enterprise-grade delivery: change control, QA, and rollback plans on every cutover.
  • Vendor accountability: SLAs, scorecards, and documented acceptance at each gate.
  • Two clocks, one plan: we align project schedules with clinical realities; patient care comes first.
