We are seeking a talented, creative, and highly organized Event Marketing Manager to join our dynamic marketing team. This hybrid role, based in New York, will focus on managing and executing a wide variety of events and marketing initiatives that drive brand awareness, and customer engagement. From large industry trade shows to intimate client events and award shows, you will oversee the entire event lifecycle while ensuring each event is a memorable experience that enhances our brand. This role requires collaboration across multiple teams, effective vendor negotiations, logistics coordination, and travel to key events.The ideal candidate will have a strategic ABM mindset, creativity, and the ability to drive initiatives across cross-functional teams to deliver impactful event experiences that contribute to the growth of Kontakt.io.

Key responsibilities

    Event Planning & Execution:
  • Plan, manage, and execute a diverse range of events, including industry trade shows, conferences, sponsored events, client-specific events, and company-hosted activations.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive event calendar, ensuring alignment with business objectives and sales goals, while supporting ABM (Account-Based Marketing) strategies to engage target accounts.
  • Own the logistics for each event, from venue selection, vendor negotiations, travel booking, to on-site coordination, ensuring every detail is executed flawlessly.
  • Work with the marketing team to develop event collateral, presentations, and other promotional materials to support event goals.
  • Assist with pre- and post-event marketing campaigns, ensuring smooth lead distribution and follow-up between the sales and SDR teams.
  • Analyze post-event performance, tracking KPIs and gathering insights to refine and improve future event strategies.
  • Organize and manage customer events, industry award nominations, and coordinate merchandising production and distribution.
  • Vendor & Budget Management:
  • Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with external vendors, suppliers, and venues, ensuring quality deliverables and favorable terms.
  • Own the event budget across all initiatives, ensuring that event spend aligns with marketing objectives and delivers measurable ROI.
  • Oversee logistics for direct mail, event gifting, and other promotional campaigns associated with events, ensuring timely execution.
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:
  • Work cross-functionally with the marketing, sales, and customer success teams to create cohesive event experiences that meet business goals.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather input, share event updates, and ensure smooth collaboration throughout the planning and execution process.
  • Leverage your ABM expertise to ensure that events are tailored to the needs of high-value accounts, delivering personalized and targeted experiences.

What You Bring

  • 2+ years of experience in event marketing or event management, ideally in a B2B environment.
  • Proven experience managing the logistics of large-scale events, from vendor negotiations to execution.
  • Strong understanding of ABM (Account-Based Marketing) event strategies and their role in driving brand engagement and growth.
  • Demonstrated creativity, with the ability to conceptualize and execute memorable event activations that stand out in a competitive landscape.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to multitask, manage shifting deadlines, and navigate changing priorities.
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented approach with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and with external partners.
  • Comfortable with travel and working in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment.
