Automotive Pre-Sales Engineer

As a Pre-Sales Engineer, you will work closely with our Sales team, Architects, and Engineers to support our clients‘ and customers‘ needs regarding their connected and autonomous vehicles and smart infrastructure activities. You will have the opportunity to learn and maintain up-to-date knowledge of V2X technology and to communicate that to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities:

• Understand business requirements and be involved in the technical strategy of the accounts
• Understand and provide complex design and systems engineering configurations to the customers
• Work with customers to capture technical requirements to provide customized proposals and quotations
• Consistently provide world-class customer service and consultative support during the pre-sales, implementation, and post-sales activities
• Clearly articulate technical elements of Commsignia's value proposition to customers and partners
• Develop technical presentations and know-how to support customers and the field sales team
• Maintain knowledge of the competitive landscape and share it with the sales, product management, and marketing teams. Propose innovative technical strategies for these team members.
• Contribute to the creation of case studies, white papers, and media articles for customers
• Support the sales process by providing initial technical assistance for the customer to get started with Commsignia products, then assist handover of the customer to our support teams
• Create and maintain training materials and organize training seminars (online and/or on-site)
• Cooperate with clients and provide technical advice on the operation of Commsignia’s Automotive Software products and/or Smart City Infrastructure products.
• Work closely together with Commsignia’s software delivery (including project management), product management, and hardware delivery teams
• Gather and maintain up-to-date knowledge of V2X technology

Requirements:

• At least 3+ years of experience in a similar role
• Being able to formulate a solid understanding of complex customer requirements related to embedded systems and wireless networks
• Hands-on experience in configuring embedded systems including networking, operating system internals, and applications
• Experience with Linux OS
• Experience working with C/C++/JAVA languages, familiarity with SQL, HTTP protocols, Mobile Wireless Technologies (4G/5G)
• Proactive, hard-working, “can do” attitude
• Willingness to travel to customers: EU, US, Asia (up to 30%)
• Fluent in English
