Commsignia is a leading software and hardware provider on the emerging Vehicle-to-Vehicle and Vehicle-to-Infrastructure (V2X) communication market, with a mission to increase traffic safety and efficiency on the road. We are now looking for a Key Account Manager based in our Budapest office to work with our key customers to establish and maintain win-win business relationships with them. You will work directly with our business development and project/product teams. Your role will be more to work with existing customers as a farmer, building new businesses with them and ensuring long-term customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining and expanding relationships with existing customers
- Identifying new opportunities and customers
- Understanding the customer goals and conditions, maintain long-term, professional relationships based on trust with key stakeholders
- Manage customer RFXs and bidding process: map out the stakeholders, create complex commercial and technical proposals for the customer, together with pre-sales, delivery, engineering, and legal
- Create and update quotations, and ensure that opportunity is won/closed, billing, handling overdue payments, handling of customer representatives’ administrative/contractual issues
- Handle contract-related issues and other duties including business model, payment terms, pricing, etc.
- Everyday account administration activities. Clarify technical scope of the customer with support of the engineering team
- Keep activities and customer information up to date in the CRM System and report the information (customer status, opportunity size, timeline, stakeholders & organizational info, etc.)
- Working closely with the project managers, sales and customer support team
- Support the pre-sales process
- Travel to customer locations to make sure communication is efficient and relationships are being maintained
- This position requires a significant amount of travel, primarily in Europe, North America, and Asia
- Approx 70% farmer and 30% hunter responsibility, meaning that most of the work is to be performed with existing customers that are assigned to You
Requirements:
- Solid understanding of business development activities at large corporate customers, involving complex SW / technology projects
- Understanding/overview of IT software development and project management concepts
- Hands-on experience in managing complex bidding processes and writing proposals to provide complex solutions for SW licensing + services
- 4-6 years experience in similar roles (key account management, business development or sales)
- Business fluent in English. Further languages can be an advantage
- College/university degree in business or technology
- Very good technical, IT and network knowledge
- Experience in the automotive industry
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong team player with the resourcefulness and self-confidence to drive the business
- Proactive working approach, ability to work individually and as a team member
- Accurate and reliable personality who can build trust with our customers
- Excellent self-administration and good task management
- Willingness to travel
Advantages:
