Commsignia is a leading software and hardware provider in the emerging Vehicle-to-Vehicle and Vehicle-to-Infrastructure (V2X) communication market, with a mission to increase traffic safety and efficiency on the road. As an Engineering Manager of the teams, you will have the opportunity to work closely with the software engineers and testers and be responsible for the operation of the agile system. In this challenging role, you’ll have room to grow personally and professionally with the team.

You will lead a team working on our Central device and data management product.

Responsibilities:

• Creating an environment where teams deliver high-quality results in a sustainable way
• Knowing and showing team health status, challenges, and performance. Identifying fields to improve
• Continuous monitoring and improvement of group dynamics, solving the upcoming problems inside and outside of the team
• Driving conflict resolution
• Keeping the targeted deadlines of the engineering team
• Regularly inform involved colleagues about the status of development tasks, progress, and problems that arise
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies (e.g. Retrospective, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, Sprint Planning, Refining) and ensure entire team engagement
• Take part in the interview process, hire/no-hire decision
• Provide regular feedback to your direct reports (e.g.: 1on1s, yearly feedback)
• Handle individual performance issues, give feedback to the employee
• Identify personal motivator factors of your team members
• Defining personal goals (career path) together with the colleagues
• Support individuals in self-development and problem resolution
• Collect and follow up on training needs
• Handle the compensation packages
• Organize smaller team-building events 

Requirements:

• 2+ years’ experience working as an Engineer Manager or Scrum Master
• A friendly and communicative person who has strong conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
• Proven knowledge of different agile practices 
• The ability to coach the teams to become self-organized and effective 
• Fluent in English and Hungarian

Nice to have: 

• Agile coach experience
• Technical background (SW development and/or testing experience)
